Privacy policy
This is the same text the Tuklas app shows under Settings.
What we collect
Your email, display name and anything you choose to publish. Profession, city and each connected social account are hidden until you make them public, independently of one another.
Basic device and crash data keeps the app working. We do not buy personal data, and we do not sell yours.
Location and precision
Location is used to compute distance to cafes and to show what is nearby, on request. Denying it leaves Tuklas fully usable — you pick a city instead.
Tuklas never shows anyone's live position. Trips and guides display itinerary pins only, and a guide never reveals where its author currently is.
What others can see
Reviews, posts, guides and follower lists are public. Saved cafes, drafts, trip notes and dispute evidence are private — dispute evidence goes to Tuklas moderation and never appears under a review or on a profile.
Your controls
Per-field visibility, notification categories and content preferences all live in Settings. You can export your data or delete your account at any time, and choose whether your published content is removed with it or kept anonymised.
